It works fine with Ardour 8.2 downloaded from here, but I get this error in log with home build Ardour 8.2.53 and no fatal crashes: g_log:gtk_box_pack:assertion 'child->parent == NULL' failed image.png (4,959 bytes) |

Tested again. Does crash with Wayland , does not crash with Xorg. Tested on a intel with intel graphics: no crash. Maybe combination RX GPU / Vulkan with Wayland? |

I can recreate here on Arch using KDE (Wayland) and also Debian 12 Cinnamon. Happens on both Ardour 8.6 (and various versions of Mixbus including 10). What the heck? Feels completely unstable. |
