Summary | 0009565: synth plugins on midi busses get reset with cues at end loop
Description | synth lv2 plugins like zyn-fusion, surge xt and helm when put on the midi busses used to play cues (bounced from regions of midi) get reset to their default instrument at the end of the first loop.
Steps To Reproduce | synth plugin on midi bus set a custom sound bounce region of midi to a slot play the cue or slot result: first loop plays custom sound, later loops play the default sound (synth seem to be reset after first loop)
Additional Information | tried different synths, same result same synths in clara and midi from ardour (via vcv rack) to synth, keeps the set custom sound. nice to have: to be able to edit the source midi and have the bounced loop changed, or to be able to edit the bounced midi. to be able to delete or rename loops in the list

This is caused by the 'Send Patches' being enabled for the clip. On the CUE page, click on the specific clip within the cue track. At the bottom you should see a button labeled 'Send Patches'. Make sure it is not enabled. Otherwise, it does send a patch change, which would likely be the first patch. I had the exact same issue, and disabling 'Send Patches' resolved it. |
