Summary | 0009520: OSC "extra select only feedback" crashes Mixbus
Description | Entering the following in a terminal... oscsend osc.udp://localhost:3819 /set_surface iii 1 256 8192 ...crashes Mixbus every time for me. If a strip is not currently selected then it does not crash, but then does as soon as a strip is selected. Seems to work fine in Ardour (8.1) and earlier Mixbus (v7 and v8). Mixbus32C v9.2.105, also v9.1.324. Happens on two PCs (both Debian), every session I've tried, with or without plugins on the selected strip.
Steps To Reproduce | Turn on OSC control surface. In terminal type: oscsend osc.udp://localhost:3819 /set_surface iii 1 256 8192 If a strip is already selected then Mixbus32C crashes, otherwise it crashes as soon as a strip is selected.
Additional Information | osc_dump reports that quite a few feedback messages are received before the crash. "/select/comp_mode_name" is the last reported message every time. Various values in the "/set_surface" call have been tried. It seems to only fail when feedback 8192 is used, be it just 8192 or that combined with other values, e.g. 8195. I'm new to OSC, so maybe I'm doing something wrong. I suspect not though, given that Ardour and earlier Mixbus works as I expected them to.
