I do no have a system with Kontakt 7 and sound libraries change any automation parameter names, but I've attempted to fix this blindly. Could you test with a nightly build https://nightly.ardour.org 7.3.286 or later? |

The parameters now appear, although the updates are now lagging significantly. I've posted a GIF showing the issue. |

Thanks for the testing, this is good news. So far I fail to see how this change could have any effect on the GUI updates. I'll sleep over it. Have the updates been smooth before? Do you still have the 7.3.0 installer? Hint: In older versions without named parameters, find a given automation lane: Menu > Edit > Show automation lane on touch, then move a knob in the plugin's UI. |

Yes, it's smooth without names parameters. This is from 7.3.0. |

Should be fixed in upcoming 7.3-290 (or 7.4.0). The regression for slow updates was actually a side effect of fixing 0009287 |
