Description1.neuron vs plugin crackles due to unable to select proper buffer size, i have 88, next 4184 samples, but there is no option for 128..256 recommended to ASIO

2.when default path diff from c:\.. shorcut on start menu point to not existent path on c:

3.if hold down note on midi keyboard, select another track , sound not stopped until switch back track, then press several another notes on midi keyboard

Regarding (1) for some older devices (like the emu), try using "Buffered I/O" and set the buffersize in the ASIO device control panel

(2) I just tried an cannot reproduce this. Is this a first-time install? Was Ardour previously installed on a different drive?


(3) you can disable the automatic switching in Preference > MIDI Ports > MIDI input follows track selection.
