Description1. double click Ardour, no response.
2. run bin/ardour.exe from cmd, just output a message, no response.
3. run bin/ardour.exe from MinGW command line, output some messages, no response.

Thanks! This does indicate a locale issue "gconvert" Those "invalid utf-8" warnings are also interesting.

Can you try to se set the environment variable LC_ALL=C or LANG=C
or maybe LANG=en_US.UTF-8 ?
