Summary0007172: MIDI track > Note range > Fit contents - works incorrectly for some tracks
DescriptionI have 2 MIDI tracks in one session. On is a drum track using the "Percussive" note style and playing a DrMr Sampler, the other one is a regular MIDI track that's playing a ZynAddSubFX patch.

I did Note range > Fit contents for both and the drum track seems to do it right, but the synth track makes it display a range of 4 octaves, while I have notes ranging not more than 1 octave - the "Fit contents" makes my notes visible on the bottom, but the top note is detected way to high making the visible range too broad for what is there.

Can anybody confirm this behaviour?

I have attached an example session.

There's a region selection showing two MIDI tracks both after "Note range > Fit contents". The drum track is incorrect, but the "Water" synth is correct.

I didn't spot this problem initialy in this particular session, but it also happens here.

I hope this'll be helpful.

I have a similar issue to this one. I have attached a video displaying it.

* Create a MIDI track and MIDI region that spans the full range of midi notes.
* Right click on a MIDI track in the editor:
  - Note Range -> Show Full Range - works as expected
  - Note Range -> Fit Contents - does not display the full contents
