| Description | V. 4.6.22, but occurs since more than one year. When connecting a track to another Bus than master, with drop menu or matrix window, Ardour reconnect them to selected bus AND main bus on each startup. Connection track status then indicate *4*. disabling "autoconnect tracks/bus to master bus" doesn't work. | ||||

Cannot reproduce with 4.6. Do you use a patchbay like in qjackctl that manages jack ports autoconnections ? |

I use Cadence, and Claudia from KXStudio repositories, a LADISH session manager. I told jack not to autoconnect to physical/system output. |

So, I tried with Claudia and I can reproduce this behavior but in my opinion, this is not an Ardour bug. Found 3 ways to bypass this: - Don't use Claudia - In Claudia -> Tools -> Configure Jack: select "Ignore all self connect requests". That implies that you have to manage all connections (including internal ardour's connexions ) via Claudia :-/ - When your tracks are connected to master bus and your selected bus after loading a session, disconnect from master bus via Claudia patchbay, save studio and save ardour session. After reload, connexions should be OK. |

I won't drop Claudia, it's powerful and nice... I tried 3rd point: right, when I re-route in Claudia, it's ok, when I patch in Ardour, even if I save session in Claudia, it reconnects. So where doe's it come from? |
