Summary | 0006737: Clicking outside a modified track header name entry discards changes
Description | After double-clicking the name in the track header and editing the name, clicking elsewhere causes the name to revert to its previous value. Only leaving the name edit via the Enter or Tab keys leaves the new name in place. I'm pretty sure I remember that doing this used to keep the new value, so I think this is a regression. If it was a deliberate change, I think it's wrong, especially if the patch in 0006609 gets applied.

This is a deliberate change introduced in commit c4be8c2a676adb0810fdc5d2a9dc1577f654a274 Furthermore, clicking outside track header area or outside "regions" area, keep the new name. => Edit track name, click on the record button, transport button, in the ruler... The new value is kept. I think this is an inconsistent behavior. |
