Summary | 0006652: "Audition from cursor" mode/option for
Description | It would be nice to have a mouse mode that would play a section of a track from where the cursor is clicked until the cursor is unclicked. Options: - on a quick click-release, just keep playing - on a click and hold, stop after hold is released - <modifier>+click: play track solo'd (without modifier, it just plays all tracks normally.

Have you tried enabling auto-play ? |
|
Nope, I missed that. So, that covers the first option. (BTW, is there any searchable user docs? Neither the manual or the reference seem to have search functions. I still think the other two options would be nice to have. |

sigh.. ignore that comment about the manuals, I see the search box on http://manual.ardour.org/welcome-to-ardour/ now. |
