Summary | 0006509: region-gain-change after a split is operating on wrong region
Description | To recreate, given a single-track, single-region session: 1) Select a range inside the region 2) click "s" to separate the range, resulting in 3 regions 3) after the selection, the mouse should be hovering over the 3rd region ,and it will show fade handles as if it was the current region. 4) click the keybinding to increase region gain. Since there is no explicit region selection at this time, you might normally expect this action to operate on the 3rd region, which you are currently hovering over. 5) instead, the 1st region (which is where you initiated the range drag) will be operated on.

Either I did reproduce it wrongly or this is fixed. Can you please check Ben? |

I just tested this with version 4.4 and 4.4-210-ga4daf93 and I can reproduce in both. There can be no mouse movement after selection or it will adjust gain on the mouse under the cursor and not the original region. |
