When it freezes, press Ctrl + c in the debugger window. then thread apply all bt quit to get a backtrace. Don't kill it with the task-manager. Thanks. |

No need to be sorry, the window debug workflow is not really documented anywhere. anyway, the backtrace looks good. Still it's a bit of a mystery. It looks like it hangs while the plugin tries to open a network connection (WSPStartup) and blocks/waits for the network. Does the plugin actually instantiate (show up as entry in the processor box)? I have no idea why, but this smells like some copy protection gone wrong. Maybe some incompatible .dll |

No, the plugin doesn't instantiate. As soon as I select it, Ardour freezes. Let me try a few things tonight and I'll report back. |

Well, I had copied some plugins to a separate folder for testing with Ardour. I thought maybe this was causing the problem. I cleared Ardour's vst cache and directed it to my main vst folder. Still the same problem. This plugin (same location) works fine with Reaper. I did upload a third debug log just in case it contained any new information. |

I've been able to insert and use Synthmaster in MB3. Same Synthmaster dll. |
