Summary | 0006417: Pre-Roll / Count-In
Description | Most other DAWs have a count-in option. When enabled, the DAW will begin playback a couple of bars (customizable) before the selected point. Recording will begin where the cursor was, but the lead in time allows for the artist to get into the groove of the music. This can be done currently by punching-in, but this isn't as convenient as a pre-roll would be. It requires extra time to set up before each take and is generally difficult.

If both this and the feature described in Issue 6146 (punch-in pre-recording) were implemented, it would be great if pre-roll also had pre-recording. |
