Summary | 0006415: Ardour 4.1.0 with Mackie MCU Pro: playhead behaviour
Description | - opening an Ardour 3 or 4 project (or setting up a new project) in Ardour 4.1.0 - connecting a Mackie MCU Pro using a2jmidid and JACK-MIDI - set the playhead to a place during the project, maybe 2:19:02 (or any other place) - hit the button "Play" on MCU Pro, then "Stop", also on MCU Pro. > if Ardour is set to "Auto Return" everything works fine: the playhead jumps back to 2:19:02 > if Ardour is NOT set to "Auto Return" the playhead jumps back to 0:00:00.
Additional Information | I watched the same behaviour with Ardour 4.0.0 already. It happens under KXStudio 12.04, UbuntuStudio 12.04, and TangoStudio/Debian 7. If I use Ardour's own "Play" and "Stop" buttons on the desktop using my mouse, everything works fine. MCU Pro software version v4.0.2
