Summary | 0005881: Tempo matching when auditioning in "Add Existing Media"
Description | In reaper (and I'm sure other DAW's) it is possible to tempo match drum loops to the project whilst auditioning media. This would be really handy feature for ardour as the current workflow requires a few manual steps before a loop can be auditioned at the correct tempo.

The auditioner currently follows the tempo defined on the main timeline. It currently has the shortcoming that it always starts at zero (not the selected import position). There are plans to take the selected "Insert at" position into account, but no dedicated control over bpm in the auditioner. Would that solve your issue? |
