| Description | While using the midi editor, ardour will often core dump. This occurs both when playing back midi data and when editing (though more often when editing). Below is some information output by ardour3.3 when run from shell emulator. (The ellipsis represents a large number of similar lines of output). My system is Ubuntustudio 12.04, realtime kernel (3.2.0-49-lowlatency) running Unity desktop env and Jack2. | ||||

I have Recently discovered that this occurs when holding ctrl + up, to increase the velocity of a note (or decrease if ctrl + down). Also when holding shift + mouse wheel up/down. Essentially when changing the velocity of a note, the output depicted above is shown. This often, but not always results in a core dump. Crashing definitely occurs while saving during midi playback |
