| Description | This does not happen consistently, but the only way I can be sure to avoid it is to click on a track before using any of the keys. I have encountered: Pressing space to start/stop play crashes Ardour. Pressing ctrl, alt sometimes. Pressing home to return cursor to start. It happens so often Ardour is almost unworkable. | ||||

I cannot reproduce this at all. quite the opposite: I regularly use those keyboard shortcuts without any problems. Please try to reproduce this with the official binary from ardour.org and if the problem persists attach a back-trace (see http://ardour.org/debugging_ardour) Alternatively file a bug report at Dream Studio. |
