Summary | 0005465: IR LV2 plugin filename lost after session is closed
Description | The plugin by Tom Szilagyi (http://factorial.hu/plugins/lv2/ir), version 1.3. This convolution processor uses an external file (impulse response file) to simulate reverbation. All other parameters (switches etc.) of the plugin are saved in session and restored, but the filename is not, meaning that after reloading the session, all instances of IR will not load any IR file, leaving them useless, and with no clue to the user what file was loaded when he/she set this up.
Additional Information | This problem does not exist in Lv2rack (https://apps.ubuntu.com/cat/applications/precise/zynjacku/) and IR works there fine, reloading Lv2rack's preset will restore all option INCLUDING the filename. I believe it's an Ardour bug.

I see the same behaviour with commit 126d592e8a2be72a1f7340ed70400e6a1d1e722b. |

Is IR.lv2 using http://lv2plug.in/ns/ext/state/#mapPath ? Ardour does not handle LV2 plugin state directly, liblilv takes are of that. Never versions of liblilv might refuse to save file paths that are not abstracted and not portable. zynjacku is long lost/unmaintained. can you please test with jalv ? |

I've had this issue not happen one time. I loaded an Ardour project, and the IR2 worked! I'm not sure why - that is confusing. |
