Summary | 0005306: Toggle keybinding for step input.
Description | Step edit can be engaged by right clicking on the record button for a selected track. A toggle keybinding for this would be useful, and eliminate, for those who rely on bindings, going from the qwerty to the mouse and back again for each step input action.

Suggested text for the manual should this be implemented: Step Edit mode in Ardour can be engaged or disengaged by mouse or keybinding. right click with the mouse on the record button in a midi track, and select or deselect the step entry checkbox in the popup menu. The keybinding (toggled) for engaging or disengaging step edit mode in a selected track is <keybinding>. |
|
Suggested keybinding: Shift + S |
