i've left it in place because it is evidence of a serious error that may cause issues when closing a session and (re)opening another (or the same). it needs to be fixed before 3.0 can be released, and "it" is probably not just one thing. |

I experienced this with revision 13494, but unfortunately did not manage to reproduce. |
