| Description | In A2, the 'Comments' button changes its colour and appearance when there are comments on a track, making it easy to see at a glance which tracks have comments attached. With the move of 'Comments' to the track name's context menu in A3, this has disappeared, so the only way to see whether a track has comments is to actually open its comments box, which I think sort-of defeats the object of comments if you have a lot of tracks, since you have to remember which tracks you wanted to remember something about... | ||||

strongly seconded. perhaps the bottom connection button could be split in half (same size as group and metering point selectors) to make room for a track comment button like in a2, which is colored for tracks that have comments. |

I think it was removed to preserve vertical space. It could perhaps be optional, or as suggested, a half-width button. |

I think the most important thing is to have some visual indication of the presence of comments: a dedicated button would be nice, but I was thinking that maybe something like prepending a '*' to the displayed track name might be enough. |
