a lot more detail is needed. http://ardour.org/how_to_report_a_bug .... in particular, a recipe is needed.

Hi,
I think I have the same bug:
It seems to be related to the zoom function. When I zoom+, then zoom- again, I get some new automation points. I see them different depending on which size (zoom) I watch my session... (see screenshot)
Ubuntu Studio 10.04 with Ardour 2.8.6, session recorded on US 9.10, don't remember Ardour version (regular one from repositories)
Tell me which others informations you need

I've been unable to reproduce this when using the SVN build.
