Description | If a region is overlapped by another region(it is on a lower layer) and deleted, when the region cut/delete is undone(undo) the region appears on the wrong layer(above the region that overlapped it before the cut). | ||||

Yes this is still an issue as of version Ardour/GTK 0.537.0 running with libardour 0.840.0. To reproduce it is easy as overlapping 2 regions and cutting/removing the region on the lower layer. Undoing the operation results in the region that was removed placed visually above the other region and not in the layer it was in before the cut/remove. |

I can no longer reproduce this issue on 2.8, it appears to have been fixed in the LONG interim. Resolving this as a result, but post back up if this is still an issue for you. |
