Summary | 0001728: Snap-to settings menu should always pop under the button, instead of over.
Description | In the editor window, the snap-to settings menu appears when you click the snap to settings button. When it pops up, it is with the current snap mode highlighted and shown under the cursor. Preferable behavior would be to have it always pop up under the button to eliminate the need for time-consuming scrolling.

sorry, i don't fully understand the suggestion. |
|
In the editor window, below the transport, the snap-to combo box lets you select the snap to settings (bar, beat, minute, etc). When I click on the combobox, a menu pops up, and whichever setting was already selected appears on screen at the same height as the box. This means that there is usually lots of menu above the cursor and lots of menu below the cursor. I think it would be better to have the menu always pop under the combo box, so the user can see all of the options, instead of having to scroll through the menu, the majority of which is now offscreen above the cursor. |

This is still the case for 2.8. |
