Description | I'd like to be able to press the record button and have Ardour click off a pre-roll time duration (number of measures) before the playhead cursor starts moving. It'd be very good to have the time duration be adjustable by the user. Thanks much.... | ||||

This feature is on the post-3.0 roadmap but hasn't been implemented yet. Right now, you can achieve something similar to this using loop and punch ranges. |

I'll add to this that a two pip would be nice. We can stagger the start of tunes, but that still messes with absolute time, particularly when synced with video. |
