| Description | When using the FlatPak version of Ardour, no plugins in /usr/lib/lv2 are located. When running the deb version there is no problem. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Install FlatPak version, plugins are not found. 2. Scan for plugins (ensuring you have some installed) 3. LV2 plugins are not discovered in /usr/lib/lv2 4. Uninstall FlatPak version. 5. Install deb version 6. Plugins are detected immediately. | ||||
| Additional Information | Seems probably to do with FlatPak sandboxing and permissions to the file system. | ||||

We do not provide Flatpak binaries for that reason. Due to the flatpak sandbox, you have to use flakpak'ed plugins as well. There is nothing we can do about distros screwing things up when packaging Ardour. Please contact the person who provided the flatpak to you for support. The official https://ardour.org/download binary is not affected. |
