| Description | Currently is not possibile for the user to define keyboard shortcuts for track/bus/plugin parameters. It is possible to access some of these controls only with MIDI/OSC mappings or Lua scripting. Having additional Actions for track/bus/plugin parameters, and possibly other UI controls, would allow the user to define, for example, keyboard shortcuts to: enable/disable/bypass plugins toggle a plugin parameter between two values | ||||

Actions are closures, which mean they accept no arguments (i.e. can be invoked without providing any context or information) Addressing specific parameters of specific plugins is therefore almost impossible to do efficiently with this mechanism. The closest you could get is "the 2nd automtable parameter of the 1st plugin on the 1st selected track". This does not seem useful to me. |
