Description | When I try copy more tracks - it doesn't work correctly. Sometimes Ardour adds new tracks, sometimes it uses transpose, sometimes it moves to different places.
Steps To Reproduce | Record audio midi(ues the keyboard) tracks in different places and try to copy them somewhere
Additional Information | This problem occurs in all versions of Ardour. The same was in Mixbus 5.3

I assume this is a region selection and you've used copy/paste via ctrl+c and ctrl+v. You have to explicitly select the MIDI track(s) to paste to before pasting. They can even be different tracks. As for the "transpose", I assume you mean they're shifted in time (not MIDI transposed). if so, that is expected behavior when pasting multiple times. In your case it would be easier to use ctrl+drag/drop to copy. That retains track relationships. |
