Summary | 0008705: Ardour 6.6.0 randomly dropping MIDI off notes / sustaining MIDI notes.
Description | Ardour 6.6.0 randomly doesn't turn a MIDI note off / sustains it indefinitely, while playing with live MIDI input (Axiom Pro Keyboard). Using realtime Linux MAO kernel (5.11.4-rt11.fc34.x86_64 0000001 SMP PREEMPT_RT x86_64) with fresh, fully updated Fedora 34 install. This also happens using latest non-realtime / vanilla kernel. Using Pipewire with 512 buffer size - no xruns occurring. It happens while playing live on two different midi keyboard inputs and using USB input and MIDI port input. Ardour loaded with default.sf2 soundfont using both Calf fluidsynth and ACE Fluid Synth. Musescore
Steps To Reproduce | Open Ardour Create MIDI track or bus Set input to MIDI keyboard Load Calf Fluidsynth Load /usr/share/soundfonts/default.sf2 -> FluidR3_GM.sf2 Play live keyboard for about 2-3 minutes.
