| Description | This happens when i copy and paste a few regions in a track which has automations somewhere in the Project but not at the point the regions are i try to copy (no automation line at that place). When i copy the regions to another place suddenly automationpoints are set at the copied regions and that changes the sound completely. | ||||

is this about processor/plugin automation, or MIDI CC? Are you perhaps using Ripple edit mode? If so that should be fixed in recent git (try a https://nightly.ardour.org/ build). Otherwise a recipe how to reproduce this would help. Thanks. |

It is about processor/plugin automation. I am not using Ripple mode. This happens when i am in slide mode. Also happens in Ripple mode though. It does not matter if i copy a region or a range without automation. When i paste it there will be automation. Not sure how to write a recipe for this. I can share some screenshots. Sorry about the double screenshots but i think it is visible. The first pic shows the range to copy. The second the pasted range. Here are automationpoints and as seen in the last picture, the values are sometimes not even appearing in the whole automation lane. Is there anything else i can send to help? :) |
