Summary | 0008077: Drag and drop of highlighted track in Editor List initiates rename
Description | Dragging tracks to reorder them in Editor List results in activating renaming of the track instead of drag. This makes dragging tracks harder as drag position has to be precisely initiated from row area without widget. Tested with Ardour_6.0.rc1.95_dbg on 64-bit Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.
Steps To Reproduce | 1. open or create project with multiple tracks 2. open View > Editor List (Shift+L) 3. in Editor List open "Track & Busses" tab 4. click on one of the tracks to highlight 5. wait at least 5 seconds 6. initiate drag and drop of the highlighted row from track name area
Additional Information | For mitigation tracks can be ordered using CTRL+Up and CTRL+Down keyboard shortcut.
