Summary | 0007952: Note displayed differently before and after placement.
Description | See the video and also consider the snapping settings.
Steps To Reproduce | 1) Create MIDI region and snap its beginning to a bar 2) Resize the beginning a bit to start slightly before the bar 3) Place a note with bar snapping turned on, clicking before the bar marker Before placing it, it is displayed * not at all * then on mouse button down, it is displayed to be inserted before the bar * when releasing the mouse, it is inserted starting at the bar I am not sure where exactly this note should be placed, but at least it should be consistently displayed.

Just a note regarding the video: The white note (a.k.a. ghost note?) is displayed when I push the mouse button down and it stays visible as long as I press the mouse button. |

This issue is actually even more general. The ghost notes snap to the grid with beginning and end while the placed notes only snap the beginning to the grid. See the new video. In this video I activated "Snap" and set the grid to "bar". |
