Summary | 0007790: sample rate issues
Description | using the stable 64 bit and the nightly from 8/22/19 in both 32 and 64 bit.. my sound card died so I put in an known good motu 2408 with pcie-424 card.. start a brand new session and import 32 tracks I recorded elsewhere. 44.1k 32bit. I create all the settings properly but as soon as I it play the motu jumps to 48k. stop engine, got to manager, reset to 44.1 start engine hit play and it just keeps doing it. not the hardware as it works fine in Vegas and Samplitude. I just hate those programs

What settings are you using? in Audio/MIDI Setup? Audio System: Portaudio/ASIO ? Is the sample-rate there set to 44.1k? Does using "Use buffered I/O" (checkbox on the side) make a difference? |
|
yes in audio midi setup i am set to port audio, asio, motu pci asio, 44.1 and buffered nor unbuffered change it. the only "workaround" so far is I have in the motu driver window changed from internal clock to wordclock which will fix it, but creates and issue of sample rate mismatch in my soundforge editor |
