Summary | 0007595: MIDI Regions becoming empty after session is saved and loaded again
Description | I have had this occuring many times. Sometimes it leads to trival annoyances when I have to copy a region from a different place to restore it, sometimes it causes annoying data loss and I can not recover my part because it hits a unique MIDI region, sometimes it inspires me to change my arrangements for better ;) Here's the issue: Randomly when I save and load an Ardour Session I discover that few MIDI regions appear to be empty. The affected regions usually are the first one on a given MIDI track, when counting from the session start. Sometimes however it affects regions in the middle of the session, so I can't point this as a rule. I thought that maybe the name of the Region matters here, but I cannot find any pattern regarding that. It doesn't happen every time or even for every project. Some projects seem to be unaffected at all. Some have the same regions cleared after each save/load cycle after I manually replace them with new ones over and over. Does anyone experience similar behaviour?
