Summary | 0007468: Allow smaller tack height (for easier drum sequencing)
Description | I sometimes wish I could make the tracks even smaller to fit more stuff on my screen. The current minimum height seems to be 32 pixels per track - but there's quite a lot of spare pixels on the header of the track still. I've made a mock-up and managed to get down to 16 pixels (half the current minimum) by squishing the buttons a bit, but there's still plenty for room for the track name. This might be useless for audio tracks, because the waveform previews will probably become unreadable, however for MIDI tracks, especialy for sequencing drums, where each track is a separate drumkit element - this migth be great. The Piano roll would need to be changed a bit to allow seeing a single note row for 16 pixel track height still, please see another feature request for this: http://tracker.ardour.org/view.php?id=7467
Additional Information | I attach a mockup I drew in Inkscape based on a screenshot from Ardour 5.11 (Linux Mint)
