Summary | 0007348: End tag doesn't move when recording in saved template
Description | I do a recording /mixing session, and when I have a setup that I like, I save it as a template. But when I use this template to record, the end marker doesn't move. I can record ok, but after stopping recording, I have to hunt up the End marker and slide it out to the end of the session. If I don't do this the session looks like it's only a minute or so long.
Additional Information | version is 5.8.0 "Music for Airplay" (rev 5.8) Intel 64-bit on Ubuntu 16.04 Reply was: This issue should now be fixed in master and testable in the nightly builds. It would be appreciated if this could be confirmed. I tested rev 5.8-698-g8614984 nightly build for lib 4 and 5 and the bug remains

I got a chance to test this issue. You are correct that Session templates created with 5.8 and then used to create a new Session with a recent version (in my case 5.8.708) will not have the Session end marker moved after recording. If the template is created with 5.8.708 and then used to create a new Session then the Session end marker will be moved after record. So at this point the issue should be fixed for templates created with a recent version (builds after 0d7e9987b3) but not for older templates. |
