Steps To Reproduce | Open session with at least one MIDI track. Right click on a MIDI track region and select context menu RegionName->MIDI->Transform. Populate Transform dialog with "Set channel to exactly 2". Click "Transform" button. Expected behaviour: All notes within MIDI region change to MIDI channel 2. Actual behaviour: All notes within MIDI region change to MIDI channel 3. | ||||
Additional Information | Value is constrained to 0 - 15. MIDI protocol uses values 0-15 to represent MIDI channels 1-16. User expects to enter MIDI channel 1-16. MIDI channel is shown 1-16 in user interface after change, e.g. selecting "Internal Edit Mode (edit notes and automation points) then hover over a note. | ||||
