| Description | I recorded two takes for a drum track (since I'm such a terrible drummer and do one hand at a time) resulting in 2 overlaid midi regions. On playback both regions are sent to the synth plugin but when editing only the notes from the topmost region are selectable (alas my drumming is that bad that it requires editing even when tracked one hand at a time). For simplicity, if both regions have the same note at that point it would select the topmost. Group selects would select only topmost if there is any contention. This preserves the current edit-one-region-at-a-time implementation, but allows for a smoother workflow when editing overlaid regions.
I couldn't find a duplicate or related issue/request so I thought I'd post a new feature request. |
