Summary | 0006585: ALSA Backend requests different SCHED_FIFO priority than jack default
Description | jack 1 and 2 both use a default SCHED_FIFO priority of 10 AFAIK. The ALSA backend requests a priority of max - 20, which on linux is 79. At least Fedora but perhaps other distributions setup a max rt-prio/SCHED_FIFO value of 70 so the ALSA backend fails to aquire rt scheduling privs on those systems. I'm suggesting we make the requested SCHED_FIFO priority the same as the default jack value.
