| Description | Having updated to 4.1 from 4.0, all projects created in 4.0 that I have opened, edited and saved anew in 4.1 are shown as two entries in the startup screen where you can choose to load a recent session. As far as I can tell, there is no difference between the two identical session entries, and opening either of the two seems to work. Just a minor bug I thought I would report. Not high priority, obviously. | ||||

yes, the 'recent' list format was changed in the wake of adding save-as. The difference is a trailing slash (directory) for the session folder. You can edit $HOME/.config/ardour4/recent and remove all entries that have a trailing slash, or simply keep opening sessions and the old entries will eventually flush out. It was an oversight to leave the old entries in there for the 4.1 release. Most of devs and testers didn't notice because the change was done shortly after 4.0 the dup entries eventually vanished. I don't think any action needs to be taken because by the time Ardour 4.2 will be out, the same will have happened to 4.1 users. |

Thanks, x42, I'll try that fix. It's not a huge nuisance anyway, and I reported it in case it had been missed or was an isolated issue. |
