Summary | 0006243: Coredump at loading session after crashed recording
Description | I had a crash while recording a audiotrack from a jack-source (CALF limiter running in Carla). After that I tried to start ardour again loading the said session. I let Ardour recover the crashed data then Ardour crashed with: Zero fill end of peaks (@ 232 with 2 ardour-3.5.4869: malloc.c:3695: _int_malloc: Assertion `(unsigned long) (size) >= (unsigned long) (nb)' failed. I rebuild Ardour from git today, same result with that session (project-file appended)
Additional Information | I now have Ardour 3.5.4869 "E-No" (built from revision 3.5-4869-g3b38d7d) Other sessions load OK.

I needed to reload that session so I tried to edit it by hand. The last recording, that ran when it crashed the first time was a stereotrack. I noticed, that the respective files in interchange/audio had different size (the left was about 40MB while the right was just 38...) I deleted these files and skipped the search for missing files, then the session loaded OK.... Bad medizine, anyways... |
