| Description | hello when i launch Ardour, most of the time, it give me this error "ardour-3.5.4565: ../gtk2_ardour/engine_dialog.cc :906 : void EngineControl::device_changed(): l'assertion « backend » a échoué. Abandon (core dumped) " i've found a way to launch ardour with the removal of the .config/ardour3/config file (sudo rm config) But even after that after a whil (15 minute max) ardour disconnect from jack and i got this "JackSocketClientChannel read fail Cannot open ardourprobe client" Impossible to do anything, i always juggle with the removal of the config file, the restart of Jack and the crash of ardour. Is there any solution for that bug? i have compilate the software, barely no plugin are involved (i've installed linuxsampler, but the bug came even if I only install Ardour Thanks a lot for your help. i want to make music with Ardour but for now i can't. | ||||
| Additional Information | Ardour version 3.5.4565 Amd phenom X4 and firepod presonus firewire card. Ardour use to work well before i have to reinstall ubuntu i have ubuntu 14.10 | ||||
