Summary | 0006029: Crashes and breaks session after adding a track
Description | Ardour-3.5.403-dbg crashes almost everytime after a track is added into a MIDI/Audio mixed project. It even destroys the files, so the session cannot be reopened anymore. The attached file was recorded in Ardour, it was working (playing back). After I added an audio track, it crashed and the session cannot be reopened anymore. If I remove the MIDI file from interchange, the session loads, but if I try to reimport the MIDI file, it crashes again. Now I tend to create empty projects with 16+16 tracks, as it's much more stable, but it's a silly workaround.
Additional Information | Mostly I see this bug at the end: ardour-3.5.403: ../libs/evoral/src/libsmf/smf_load.c:560: parse_next_event: Assertion `buffer_length > 0' failed. Aborted
