| Summary | 0004790: MIDI Step Entry Gets Stuck | ||||
| Description | Whenever I create a new MIDI track and open the step editor, after entering the first note, it gets stuck and draws that note repeatedly until I close the step editor/turn off the record button. After this happens, even after I stop it from recording, the dynamics graphical display for the track is maxed-out until I mute it. After muting the track, I can safely use the step editor. | ||||

Does it always happen with a brand-new session? |

Yes, it does. I'm not quite sure when it stops happening, but after working on a session for a while (capturing audio, editing midi, etc.) a MIDI track will stop having this problem. |

So ardour is constantly adding notes to the region in the error condition? |
