Description | Scenario: Project with one midi track and no regions. Procedure: -Playhead (PH) is at time t1 -Arm Midi track (MT) -Press record and record a tune (Midi Keyboard->a2j->ardour3 MT) -Notes get recorded, midi region is in place -Press stop, PH stops rolling, beginning of midi region on MT get immediatly shifted to PH position. | ||||

I believe we established that this is because you were in Splice edit mode. Is that right? |

Yes. That's right. It works in slide mode. |
|
splice mode is known to be non-functional under many simple situations as well as more complex ones. removing it from the GUI entirely has been considered. |
