Summary | 0003217: dragging clock is behind the regions area
Description | I'm again talking about the clock displayed over the main editor canvas area during dragging the playhead (for example). If one drags toward the right edge of the screen, the clock display unfortunately gets obscured by the right panel (displaying the region list for instance). In my opinion, near the right edge of the screen the clock should appear to the left of the cursor anyway, but in either case, it should be the topmost thing on the screen, not obscured by anything.

this cannot be fixed with a radical, deep change to ardour's GUI design. the text is displayed as a part of the "canvas". the region list etc. on the right hand side is not part of the canvas. |
|
And what about adaptively placing the text on the other side of the cursor? |

This issue probably shouldn't be in "feedback" status. |
