Summary | 0002849: Ardour crashes after repeatedly zooming in and out using the mouse wheel
Description | How to reproduce (might require many tries): Zooming in and out constantly using the mouse wheel, in a session with a few tracks and audio regions, leads eventually to a crash. Perform deep zoom ins and outs at different locations by pointing with the mouse pointer at different locations (first I thought it had to be done in combination with moving the playhead by pressing "p" but I got it to crash without doing it). I've been experiencing this problem since long time ago when using Ardour under Linux and thought it was related to my system but then I'm experiencing the same with Ardour 2.8.2 under Mac Os X Leopard 10.5.8. I usually jump around a session performing edits and zooming in and out using the mouse wheel and very often I end with Ardour crashing. This has been a a major headache for me while working with bigger projects.
