Summary | 0002760: Dialog for existing track "send" cannot rescan available connections.
Description | After adding a new "send" to a track, the dialog that appears when double-clicking that send entry does not offer the "rescan" function that the Ardour's connection dialogs usually have. This requires deletion/re-creation of sends everytime a session is re-loaded in case it was unable to automatically connect to its jack client, instead of simply re-connecting it.

I have Ardour 2.8.6 on a 64 Studio box. I was able to add a new output connection to an existing send by using the Track/Bus Inspector. Context: I had a post-fader send from a track to Japa. I then started Jaaa and wanted to connect the post-fader send to Jaaa but Jaaa was not listed in the "available connections" for the send. I launched the Track/Bus Inspector, located my track, then clicked the Post-fader Redirects tab. I double-clicked the send and was able to see Jaaa listed in the Available connections. P.S. the double-click is not always working... |
