Summary | 0002530: No latency compensation when adding plugins to tracks.
Description | When adding plugins to a track (e.g. Dyson compressor), a latency is induced. Ardour does not seem to compensate, so phasing or a noticeable delay occurs. Video demonstration: http://www.riggzy.com/files/ardourlag.mov Sample project: http://www.riggzy.com/files/ArdourLagTest.zip
Additional Information | I have been able to reproduce this issue on my own system, and have included a sample project for others to try (on my own server b.c. of large file size, as I have included my own WAVs). Chances are it is to do with my system, which is why I have not filed this as a bug. I have reinstalled Ardour and JackOSX several times, including removing and reinstalling the plugins. System: MacBook Pro, Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.4Ghz, 4GB memory, native Ardour 2.7.1, Jackdmp 1.9.1, JackRouter 0.9.0, JackPilot 1.6.5.
