Summary | 0001834: gui stops responding when export range fails on write permission | ||||
Description | To reproduce: Create a file as root: sudo touch /tmp/test.wav Now, running ardour as a normal user, create a range and export it to /tmp/test.wav Ardour log windows pops up and tells you error ... /tmp/test.wav ... system error, ok - but now you can't escape from the export dialogue. I sometimes run jack/ ardour as a normal user when I'm just mucking about and am not too bothered about drop outs, then I switch to jack -R when I need super solid performance, hence me getting this problem. cheers for the great software.
